How would you feel if you were wrongfully charged with First Degree murder and faced a death sentence?

Mercedes is a woman in her 30’s trying to enjoy life. Her boyfriend BRIAN SMITH asks her if she wants to go on a road trip to see the bright lights of New York City. On the way, something very unexpected happens, which will change the course and destination of Mercedes’ life forever. As Mercedes and her boyfriend’s homeboy DUDE JONES rides out, she expects a little adventure and excitement in her otherwise routine life. However, the blaring sirens and flashing blue lights suddenly interrupts her thoughts, and before this night ends, it will quickly turn it into her worst nightmare. After the authorities inspect the contents of the trunk, regarding which Mercedes is clueless and Dude denies any knowledge of, Mercedes finds herself undergoing a brutal interrogation and being targeted as a suspect in a double homicide.
